Terms de Service
Last updated:
Fig & Verse is a free Bible learning game. All learning and book packs are free, with more books opening as you play.
These terms cover Fig & Verse at figandverse.com. By using the game, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Playing Fig & Verse
You must be at least 13 to use Fig & Verse. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the game with a parent or guardian’s permission. You must also meet any additional age or parental-authorization requirements that apply where you live.
You may play for your own learning and enjoyment. You do not need an account for guest play. Some book packs open as you complete questions. You need a compatible browser and an internet connection to load puzzles, check answers, read passages, and use account features.
Accounts and progress
Signing in lets you save completed daily rounds, learning progress, and unlocked books across devices. Keep your credentials secure, use an account you are authorized to use, and do not impersonate another person or share someone else’s credentials.
Guest saves, unfinished rounds, practice rotation, and preferences stay in your browser. Clearing browser data may remove those saves. Signing out does not delete an account or its server-saved progress, and account deletion cannot currently be completed in the game.
Scores, stars, streaks, and book unlocks are personal game records with no cash value, prizes, or monetary redemption. Do not submit false or manipulated results. We cannot guarantee recovery of every lost browser save.
Puzzle packs and learning content
Book and themed packs are free. Unlocks depend on play, not payment. We may correct questions, adjust difficulty, and update the way rounds and unlocks work as we improve the game.
Puzzles are learning activities and may include factual paraphrases of passages. Scripture wording and verse numbering can differ by edition and language. We work to correct errors, but do not promise that every question, explanation, or reference is error-free.
Scripture, sharing, and ownership
The Scripture passages use public-domain editions. We do not claim ownership of the Bible text or limit rights you otherwise have to use public-domain material.
You are welcome to share or save the verse cards you create in the game, including on social media. Sharing is your choice; the game does not post automatically. You are responsible for following the receiving platform’s rules and for any captions or other material you add.
The game’s original artwork, branding, code, puzzle wording, and other original content remain the property of their owners. Permission to share verse cards does not grant permission to redistribute the game, reuse its branding, or extract and reuse its original assets separately. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses. These terms do not limit rights that applicable law gives you.
Acceptable use
Do not bypass access restrictions; automate abusive requests; overload or interfere with the service; attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or private content; redistribute the original puzzle catalog without permission; or misrepresent the game as your own. These restrictions do not prevent lawful use of the public-domain Scripture itself.
Advertising and purchases
We do not currently display third-party ads, accept payments, or offer subscriptions. You do not need to buy anything to play or unlock books. If optional paid features or advertising are introduced, we will explain the relevant terms and privacy choices before you use them. These terms do not authorize an unannounced charge.
Availability and changes
We may improve the game, adjust difficulty, fix errors, and temporarily interrupt access for maintenance or security. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free play, or recovery of every lost browser save.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements, or a material breach of these terms, including use by someone who does not meet the minimum age. You may stop using the game at any time; stopping play does not itself delete an account or saved records.
Liability and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the game. We do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limit mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence. Nothing in these terms requires you to give up those protections.
Changes to these terms
We will update the date above when these terms change and provide appropriate notice of material changes. Changes do not override rights you already have under applicable law.
